Firthfields Gardening Club

Firthfields Gardening ClubMeeting time: First Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm

Started in 2005, the Gardening Club is open to anyone who wants to come. The evening has evolved into a very informal social evening loosely based on gardening with speakers and events organised from time to time.

Throughout the year we hold various activities including planting evenings, speakers/slideshows, outings, light-hearted competitions, socials and an annual Plant Sale.

The aim of the Club is to provide the facilities whereby people with an interest in gardening can meet, swap ideas, pass on tips for planting, growing, pruning, etc.

Membership of the Gardening Club is not compulsory but you can save money with it. For just £7 (£12 per couple) you will receive a 10% discount on purchases made at local Nurseries, free entry to meetings and reduced price on speaker nights and organised events.

For more information, call (0113) 2864298 or just turn up! (non-members pay £1.00 for entry to meetings, 1st meeting free). Club membership is open to all members of the community regardless of their level of gardening experience. Novice gardeners are as welcome as more experienced gardeners who are willing to pass on that experience.
